2010 (2019 Reissue)Moving records is a helluva job; them mofos is heavy! I took the opportunity to dig out all my VMP and Black Lion records so I can get more spine porn going. It’s not as uniform or impressive looking as the wall of orange and black that’s beneath it, but getting there slowly.
The Vinyl Lab is one step closer to being done. Yesterday was spent setting up the camera and putting up display shelving. It’s not painted yet and there’s no backdrop to speak of yet but I’ve got ideas… I’ll keep posting progress pix and spinning the wax.
Also, this new Flylo reissue of Cosmogramma is LOUD AS FUCK! VMP gave it the half-speed mastering treatment, had it pressed at GZ Media and added exclusive new cover art. It’s pretty, it sounds great and the vinyl experience is immersive and tactile. Vinyl done right.
